Facil and Facil Centro, Version 6.00, Released on 2/24/2020

This update moves Facil to the curent Microsoft Access platform, the version of Access included in Office 365 subscriptions. If you are not an Office 365 subscriber, there is a free run-time version of the new Access avaulable.

Update to Facil and Facil Centro, Version 5.1, Released on 11/15/2013

This update contains new features:

• Visitor Log - Keeps records of who has visited your facility

• Google Calendar Export for Reservations

• Streamlined Equipment Checkout by Tag # / Barcode

• Multiple Certification Codes for one Equipment Type

Second Update to Facil Version 5.0, Released on 7/13/2011

This update contained a number of enhancements, including

• Google Calendar Program Schedule Export

• Mailing list splitting

• "No Photo" ID card formats

• Barcode of Reservation ID on Reservation Receipt

• File Browse button to enter Signal Source Detail on Program Form.

Facil Centro, Released on 9/1/2009

New Facil Version 5.0, Released on 9/1/2009

New Playback Control Interfaces

Two additional playback control systems are now compatible with Facil program schedule data exports...

The Capital Networks "Audience.tv" system has a module to import Facil program schedule data for playback control.  Audience.tv also accepts specific Facil exports of the Program Guide and the Class Schedule for use with their character generator "bulletin board" function.

The Digicaster digital playback control system from D.Co now accepts exported Facil program schedule data through their ShowMaker scheduling software.

Facil Named Best Access Product of 2004 by Alliance for Community Media

The Alliance for Community Media has named Facil the "Best Access Product" for 2004.  The award was announced at the ACM National Conference in Tampa, Florida, on July 12th, 2004. 

Facil Prices Increase June 15th, 2004

Facil pricing has remained the same since the program's first release in November of 1999.  During those years, the program has expanded greatly in functionality, providing more and more utility to its users in four major new versions.  In keeping with the increased content of the system, prices for Facil licenses will increase as of June 15th, 2004 to the following:

Pricing for upgrades from one license level to another is equal to the difference in the original price of the two licenses. 

Facil Version 4.4 Released

Facil version 4.4 was released on December 12th, 2003.  In addition to the major items listed below, many small improvements and fixes are included.  For a detailed list of all changes in version 4.4, see the Tech Doc "Update History".
